No. They scan your QR code and order in the mobile browser on their phone. Works on iOS and Android — no install, no friction.
Most venues are live in 15 minutes: create your store, add a few menu items, generate QR codes, print them. You can be serving guests before your next service.
Guests pay securely at checkout via Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Payouts land in your Canadian bank account on Stripe's standard 2-day schedule.
All plans include Stripe's standard 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. The difference between plans is the monthly subscription — QRwise does not add a platform percentage on top.
Many venues run QRwise alongside Lightspeed, Square, Toast, or Clover. Custom integrations via webhook are available on Enterprise. Most owners use QRwise as the guest ordering layer without replacing their POS.
None for guests — they use their own phones. Your team runs menus, tables, and reporting from the web dashboard on any browser, tablet, or kitchen display you already own.
Guests need connectivity to load the menu. Orders already placed are persisted in our cloud and the dashboard reconnects automatically when you come back online. Most venues position QR codes where signal is strongest.
Month-to-month. Cancel anytime from your account settings — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Your QR codes stop accepting orders at the end of the billing cycle.
Refunds are issued through the order view in your dashboard and processed via Stripe. Guests see the credit on their statement within 5–10 business days.
Yes. Plans are priced in CAD. GST, HST, and PST apply by province and are confirmed during onboarding. We are headquartered in Markham, Ontario.
Pro and Enterprise plans include priority support with typical response times under 30 minutes during hospitality hours. Starter has email support within one business day.
Yes. Tipping is configurable per plan (available on Pro and Enterprise) with suggested amounts at checkout. Tips route to your team according to your venue's policy.
Guest order and payment data is processed in accordance with PIPEDA. Stripe handles card data under PCI-DSS. We can provide a data processing addendum on Enterprise.
